Partnership for Patient Care
The Health Care Improvement Foundation’s Partnership for Patient Care is an ongoing, regional collaborative committed to improving healthcare services by enhancing patient safety and promoting the use of evidence-based medicine in hospitals throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. The partnership includes all hospitals,
Independence Blue Cross
and other regional organizations like
ECRI
and the
Institute for Safe Medication Practices
. Building on the success of the foundation’s nationally recognized Regional Medication Safety Program, the partnership will help hospitals to address all 30 National Quality Forum (NQF) identified safe practices. Through the medication safety program and the Partnership for Patient Care, all the region’s hospitals have addressed nearly half of the NQF’s goals to date.
