Southeastern PA Health Information Organization (SEPA HIO) - Request for Information (RFI)—Health Information Exchange Technology Solution

DVHC has participated in the development of a regional proposal for a SEPA HIO. DVHC envisions that the SEPA HIO would create a platform where health care providers and their partners will have timely, efficient, and effective access to a shared community information asset to support clinical decisions and care transitions that will improve the outcomes of the people served and reduce costs in the long term. DVHC is fielding a Request for Information (RFI) for a Health Information Services Provider (HISP) for the region on behalf of the Southeastern PA Health Information Organization (SEPA HIO). The SEPA HIO stakeholders determined that regional health information exchange (HIE) would have the greatest positive impact on health outcomes by focusing on clinical use cases related to improvement in care transitions. The SEPA HIO is looking for a vendor that can provide the technology to support the use cases identified through DIRECT. RFI responses should be submitted directly to the North Highland Company: james.kindya@northhighland.com and martin.lupinetti@northhighland.com no later than 5:00 PM EST on June 1, 2012.
